Murphy Martin passed away Thursday night, July 3, at approximately 10 minutes before  11:00. It was about an hour shy of what would have been his 83rd birthday on July 4.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 7 in the Main Sanctuary of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road in Dallas with interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or charity of your choice.
