"Unforgettable Hands"

The Dallas Cowboys are setting records this season. They won the Eastern Conference of the NFL last Sunday! They have the best record at this stage of the season in their history with twelve wins and only one defeat. They don't have a ticket to the BIG dance in Arizona yet but they seem to have their best chance in years of getting a sixth Super Bowl Ring all because of the unforgettable hands of Tony Romo. Those hands threw 15-successful passes to Jason Witten, and that 15th catch sealed another come from behind win for the smiling Mr. Romo's unforgettable hands! The Cowboys have had others with unforgettable hands. Don Meredith, Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman created great memories with their unforgettable hands.

Have you ever looked at your hands and recalled how you have used them in your life? Do you ever recall those wonderful stories your parents and grandparents told about their hands?

A recent Grandma story read: "Stop for a moment and remember how your hands have served you through the years. These hands, though wrinkled and weak have been the tools that I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life! They put food in my mouth and clothes on my back. As a child, my mother taught me to fold them in prayer. They healed my husband and wiped my tears when he went to war.

Decorated with my wedding band they showed that I was married and loved someone special. They have healed my children and grandchildren, consoled neighbors, and shook in fists of anger when I did not understand. These hands are the mark of where I've been and the ruggedness of life. But more
importantly it will be these hands that God will reach out and take when he leads me home. And with my hands HE will lift me to His side and there I will use these hands to touch the face of Christ."

When I read this Grandmother's story of her unforgettable hands, I am reminded that in less than two weeks, Christians will be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. How many times have we read of His Unforgettable Hands. Seen pictures of His praying hands. And pictures of those Unforgettable Hands nailed to the cross as He gave His all for our sins.

There have been many Unforgettable Hands! Great surgeons, teachers, and people from all walks of life. Some have become well known as Meredith, Staubach, Aikman and Romo, but no one in the minds of Christians, can match the Unforgettable Hands of Jesus Christ.

In this CHRISTmas season let us put our hands together and speak our minds to Him and his Unforgettable Hands. Hands that can lead you to the REAL Super Bowl of Life!

That's my time, thank you for yours.
