"Christmas is Christmas"
This is
the time of year when Christians around the world normally begin the
season to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is a time to remember the
Christ child, the babe born in a manger in Bethlehem.
In earlier days it was a more simple season, less commercial, and
more church services attended by a larger percentage of church
members than the numbers we see today.
Christmas still brings more members out for special services than
any other day of the year , except maybe Easter.
Will that be the case again this year? Or, will the growing
condemnation efforts by those individuals and groups who are
constantly fighting to remove "In God We Trust" from buildings,
money, school curriculums and even prayers before athletic events
further reduce attendance.
This country that was built on Christian principles, where most U.S.
Government buildings have the words In God We Trust engraved
somewhere in the majority of those buildings. Lawsuit after lawsuit
has been filed and some courts have ordered that phrase removed from
some locations.
But as
Christmas Cards began to flow, and special gifts for family and
friends are purchased, how many American Christians are aware of
what is going on this Christmas season that threatens ALL Americans,
Christians, Jews, whatever faith that is also TRULY American. That
has family members who have fought and died for America's Freedoms,
including freedom to worship.
Not many people are speaking out about those who may be using
"freedom of worship" for other things. Are the growing numbers of
those who hate Americans and kill Americans elsewhere in the world,
are these people teaching something other than their interpretation
of God? They lead terrorist activities , killing, maiming, even
be-heading Americans elsewhere in the world and those who gather
intelligence about these people say they are using their mosques for
training terrorists IN America too.
So while we prepare for Christian Holy days, while we worry about
how our Christmas Card Greeting is worded, we may have things of
much more concern in progress around us.
Wake Up America, there are things more important than how your
greeting card is worded. We hope our Jewish friends will not think
our greeting card is disrespectful of their faith, it was not meant
to be. But for ANY anti-American group, living in this country while
hating Americans and planning ways to destroy our country as we know
and love it.....please understand our card reads Merry CHRISTmas!
Some people , many who have recently used their differing worship
services as a facade to hide ulterior motives in America, to these
believers of the Quran, Christ will always be in Christmas and many
of us Christians believe He will prevail over anything and anyone
who depends on Allah to get to the promised land!!
